Geography
Geography enables the children to explore the world around them and we take every opportunity to get them outside to experience what they are learning.
This includes microclimate work in the grounds, visiting local settlements, river studies, exploring the wilds of the Living Rainforest and, in the Common Entrance years, residential fieldwork in Devon.
This 'hands on' approach is supplemented in the classroom with a focus on the essential skills of Global Location - where places are - and Ordnance Survey Mapwork. The Curriculum is wide ranging and stretches the childrens' boundaries of understanding and ensures that they look at their world with fresh eyes.
