Hattie, Year 3, meets Maddie, Year 5, at 1st post
Congratulations to Eagles, who won the Junior Pack Rounders, in which all the girls in Years 3, 4 and 5 took part. Merlins came second, Kestrels, third, and Buzzards, fourth.

On a spectacular Wednesday afternoon, each of Farleigh's four Packs was represented by two rounders teams, so that four matches were under way concurrently. Each team comprised a mixed group of girls from Years 3 to 5 and they each played three matches.

There was great team spirit and the girls, who normally only play in their Year groups, clearly relished playing for their Packs. It was particularly exciting and challenging for the Year 3 girls who were introduced to rounders less than two weeks ago. Playing with the older girls was a wonderful way for them to learn. They rose to the challenge and the glory of scoring a rounder admirably.
