| Retreat to Douai Abbey Year 4 spent a lovely day at Douai Abbey, a Benedictine monastery in Berkshire, where we were warmly welcomed for our annual retreat. The children explored the Abbey under the watchful eye of Father Boniface, our host for the day. They enjoyed a whole range of activities and the day concluded with Mass in the Old Chapel. The highlight for many was being at midday prayer and hearing the monks singing.
