Farleigh School’s
56 Year 8 pupils had reason to celebrate as their Common Entrance results were
released on 21st June. Father Simon
Everson, Headmaster, said, “This is a big year group and we are delighted
with the children’s wonderful achievements. Congratulations to them all and to
their parents and teachers who have worked so hard to support them.”
Eight Farleigh pupils are going to Marlborough; eight boys to Sherborne and
six girls to St Mary’s, Shaftesbury. Four pupils are going on to Bryanston;
three each to Downside, Eton and Godolphin.
Two girls are going to Cheltenham Ladies’, to Sherborne Girls and to St Mary’s,
Ascot, and two boys to Winchester. The other 13 pupils
are going to a wide range of senior schools: Bedales, Bradfield, Canford, Clayesmore,
Downe House, Haberdashers’ Monmouth, Harrow, King’s Bruton, Radley, Rookwood, Warminster,
Wellington and
Wood Green.
In addition, 19 pupils gained scholarships to their senior schools:
