The 18 members of the Chapel Choir joined choristers from fellow Catholic prep school, St
John's Beaumont, to celebrate Mass at the prestigious and beautiful Farm Street Church in
Mayfair, London.
The two choirs sang different parts of the Mass to provide a fully-fledged
choral service. The Farleigh Choristers sang from the west gallery, which
afforded excellent views along the nave to the ornate
Sanctuary. They sang John Marsh's 'Lift Up Your Heads', L. J. White's 'A Prayer
of St Richard of Chichester' and Paul Inwood's 'Gathering Mass'. The regular
congregation at Farm Street were impressed with the quality of Farleigh's Choir,
and we look forward to returning in the future.

After their hard work (and the very early start!), the Choir enjoyed some
free time in Hyde Park before a brief visit to the Launchpad Exhibition in the
Science Museum. This was followed by a trip to see The Lion King at the Lyceum
Theatre. The children were amazed by the extraordinary costumes and puppetry
this show involves and enjoyed every moment of the performance. It was a
wonderful conclusion to a great day in London. With thanks to Mr Reeves, Mrs Minting and Mrs
Berry for the Chapel Choir's memorable day out.
