Friday Cooks Return

Charlie, Year 4, Oliver, Year 5, and Charlotte and Madeleine, Year 6, were the first junior boarders invited to 'cook for the community' on a Friday evening.

The four budding chefs got to work very quickly, beavering away like seasoned professionals as they made flapjacks and garlic bread, and prepared kebabs, baked potatoes, tortellini, pancetta and salad - all with no fuss or mess.

Week 2 saw Billy, Year 4, Alex, Emma and Minna, Year 6, making 250 slices of garlic bread, broccoli cheese and cauliflower cheese. Hazel thanks all the chefs for their hard work, and is particularly impressed by how tidy and well behaved they are.
