To The Tower

Year 8 enjoyed a History trip to the Tower of London. The day was spent exploring all the nooks and crannies that the Towers have to offer - the torture devices certainly caught the imagination. The pupils enjoyed a workshop on the Peasants' Revolt; inspected the Crown Jewels; explored the mystery of the Two Princes; and experienced what it was like to be a Medieval knight in the thick of battle.

It was a thoroughly worthwhile and enjoyable day. We tried to have some of the Year 8s kept in the Tower, but even they wouldn't have them!
