Rugby Tour
It was cold! Despite sub-zero temperatures (for the first four days the
temperature failed to break the zero mark), the rugby tourists had a great time in the Haut Pyrenees, France.
The boys were unable to play
contact rugby due to the frozen ground and any outdoor sport was very
limited. However, our hosts in Madiran were brilliant and we managed to play some touch
rugby as well as handball and football. On our free day we visited
Lourdes and on the Sunday, at Mass, we were invited to sing a hymn to the
congregation. Strangely, they were happy with just one verse...
We had a lovely
time - well done to all the boys.
