Year 8 Success

Farleigh School’s 46 Year 8 pupils have all gained places to their first choice senior schools. Father Simon Everson, Headmaster, said, “It is always a great pleasure to give the children their grades from the senior schools and to see the happiness their achievements bring them. We are delighted for them all, and all credit to their teachers who have worked so hard with them to prepare for Common Entrance.”

Six pupils are going to Marlborough, six boys to Radley, five to Eton and five to Sherborne, and three girls to Sherborne Girls. The other 21 pupils are going to a wide range of leading senior schools, including Ampleforth, Canford, Cheltenham, Downe House, Downside, Godolphin, King Edward VI (Southampton), Millfield, Royal Hospital School (Ipswich), St Mary’s Ascot, St Mary’s Calne, St Mary’s Shaftesbury and Winchester.
