White Water
Last Thursday saw the end of the
Common Entrance examinations for Year 8. They seemed quite happy
with the papers and felt that they had gone well. Not only was there a sense of
relief at it all being over, but also a sense of pride that they had done their
best.
In the evening, 100 boarders joined in with a barbecue and games outside. The highlight of the
event was a water slide - 20 metres of black sack, about 10 litres of
washing up liquid and a couple of inflatables. The
children had a fantastic time trying to surpass each others’ efforts but the
champion slider has to be Gabriel Martinez who has a technique and determination
unrivalled by any other.
