Jolly Good Sport

Sports Day is always eagerly anticipated, and despite the extreme heat and blazing sun, this year was no exception. It is a chance for everyone to get involved whether their strength is on the athletics track or throwing a wellie. There is inevitably a healthy amount of competition but, most importantly, a lot of fun too. As well as an afternoon of running, jumping and throwing, everyone picked up the rope for the House Tug-o-War – a truly competitive event with the loud vocal support of the parents competing with the children’s chants of “one, two, three, heave”! Congratulations to the winning House, Buzzards.

For the first time, this year we also welcomed back 60 former pupils for the Farleigh Society Reunion Day. They joined in with proceedings and were the icing on the cake of a fantastic day.
