Covens of witches and circles of wizards arrived at Pre-Prep ready for a day in homage to Winnie the Witch.  The morning was taken up with a visit to what was once the Library, now magically transformed into a witch's cave, complete with spooky spiders' webs, skeletons and magic carpets. Mrs Rawlings, Librarian transformed into Head Witch, read the children a story about Winnie's adventures and presided over explosive potion-making in cauldrons and wicked spell writing. The children thoroughly enjoyed their spooky lesson which was rounded off with witchy biscuits and ghoulish cakes.
