A Visit to Downside
For the children taking their First Holy Communion on Sunday, a visit to Downside Abbey was a wonderful way to prepare. They were attentive, enthusiastic and interested, and showed a secure understanding of what they are preparing for. Despite the rather unwelcoming weather, they enjoyed the great Abbey and were given a very warm welcome from the community and staff at Downside.
