Our national rugby team may be struggling with some of their autumn internationals, but Farleigh boys have made a fantastic switch from football to rugby in the last couple of weeks.
With limited practice, many of the teams went straight into fixtures against Walhampton last week and played brilliantly, winning all of the matches. This was followed up this week with the U13A team playing some great rugby at the IAPS tournament hosted by Brighton College, and further, on Wednesday, by the U11A team winning the IAPS festival hosted by Stroud - beating Chafyn Grove in the final, 25-5.
The U10A team have also started the season well and were unbeaten at the Marlborough College festival. In addition, we had a block fixture with Lambrook on Wednesday, and all the teams gave their all. It was great to see boys in the U12B & U12C teams play well with some great tries on show, and the U11 teams continue their winning streak, having been unbeaten all of last year! It has been a very exciting start to the season, and we look forward to seeing the players' progress when we return in New Year. Well done, Farleigh boys!
