The Common Entrance results are in

It was an unexpected bonus to welcome back Year 8 on Friday so that they could receive their Common Entrance results direct from Fr Simon and their teachers. Socially distanced, of course, but still a welcome change to Zoom and remote learning, particularly as these rare opportunities to see their Farleigh friends and teachers is so precious in the countdown to pastures new.

"We are exceptionally proud of our Year 8 pupils", said Mrs Watts, Deputy Head (Academic). "Not only for their excellent results, but also how they contended with the lessons and build up to Common Entrance via Zoom, where they behaved impeccably; and then, having to sit their papers under exam conditions at home, which were also invigilated via Zoom. They have done tremendously well."

Farleigh pupils have always gone on to a wide range of leading senior schools. This year, Year 8 depart to the following:

  • 3 boys to Cheltenham College
  • 3 girls to Canford School
