On Friday morning for the Pre-Prep, and Saturday afternoon for the Prep, we opened our gates to hundreds of Farleigh grandparents for Grandparents' Day; one of our favourite annual summer events. 

Under the martyr's tree, the Pre-Prep children's colourful concert was accompanied by a light summer breeze and a spot of afternoon tea. Expertly led by the amazing Mrs Weager, the children performed a variety of songs, including some favourites from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and their infectious energy had everyone on their feet singing and dancing. 

The following day, an afternoon of House cricket matches set the scene for the parents and grandparents of Prep children, paired with tea, coffee, cakes, and followed by a friendly parent cricket match - with Years 3, 4 & 5 parents snatching the victory!

We absolutely loved hosting all ages of Farleigh families in our grounds, witnessing the shared love for singing and sport, and the general all-around joy on two lovely summer days. Until next year!
