Match Report

Farleigh entered a team into the National Junior Schools Outdoor Polo Championships, alongside 10 other prep schools and a total of 20 teams, to finish an impressive 3rd place overall, behind the Cothill House A and Bryanston Prep A teams.

Playing in the top division, the squad of Henry, Amelia, Holly and Martha, firstly beat The Dragon A team convincingly, 6-2, raising our hopes, only to come back to down earth as we agonisingly lost to Bryanston Prep, 3-2.

In the play-offs, the team came back impressively from 2-1 down to a mixed schools team, in true Farleigh spirit, to prevail 3-2.

The team were noted for their ultra-smart turnout and convivial yet competitive spirit. The Farleigh team picnic was another highlight of the day!
