A Joyful First Holy Communion

As always, the day of First Holy Communion was much anticipated by the children and their families.

Around a hundred guests gathered in our beautiful Chapel, which had been decorated with wonderful floral arrangements that duly enhanced the celebrations.

Everyone agreed it was a very special day, on which the eleven children who had worked hard to prepare for this occasion listened to Fr Simon talking about how they were like apple seeds, sent out to grow in the image of God and sow their seeds of love and kindness wherever they went, confident that God would always be with them.

Refreshments provided a fitting end to the morning, with everyone agreeing that this was a truly memorable day for our young people.
