What an exceptional afternoon of athletics we hosted last Friday on an extremely hot, sunny afternoon.

Farleigh was delighted to host Cheam, Daneshill, Pilgrims’, Pinewood, Port Regis, Twyford and Yateley Manor athletes for a track and field event.

With about 400 athletes taking part, the afternoon was enjoyed by all with some superb and brave performances on show across the various events. Thanks to tip-top organisation, particularly by Miss Mitchell, and embellished by excellent commentary and participant interviews from Mr English and records-keeping from Mr Reeves, the whole school and many of our favourite competitor teams, and their enthusiastic supporters, enjoyed an idyllic afternoon of sporting endeavour.

The team winners for the girls were Farleigh and - not to be outdone - the team winners for the boys were also Farleigh. Well done to all athletes who participated and gave it their all, to make this another fantastic Farleigh sporting event.
