All A-board at Farleigh!

Our boarders have returned, bringing their usual infectious good humour and cheer to the Farleigh boarding houses. The grounds are once again teeming with activity and happy chatter in the evenings, as the children catch up on news from over the holidays, renew cherished friendships and settle back into familiar routines in their ‘home from home’.

Thanks to our catering staff, as ever, for continually putting on such a wonderful spread for breakfast, lunch and supper. The full boarders had a wonderful first weekend back and enjoyed making their own pizzas, toasting marshmallows on the open fire and a whole host of fun 'n' games in the evening sunshine.

No day is ever quite the same in Senior Boarding, but it is always a happy bunch who retire by lights-out, ready for the adventures the following day will surely bring.

In Junior Boarding, the dorms were filled with laughter and chatter as the children returned last Wednesday. Discovering where their new bed would be and arranging their photos and cuddlies was soon complete, and then they made their way hungrily to supper.

Then it was outside for some games and fun, where friendships were re-established and new ones made. Watching the Boarding family enjoying being back together is always a great start to the new school year and gets us all in the mood for what is to come!
