Equestrian Team back in the saddle

Finally... Farleigh's riding team was delighted to be able to train together again for the first time this year. Twenty-two children, from Year 3 to Year 8, were back in the saddle in preparation for the first NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) competition of the year, which has been postponed from half-term to the summer holidays. Plenty of time then for the team to hone their skills! We look forward to their progress.

Over the exeat weekend, our riding captain, Scarlett Butterworth, represented Farleigh at Swalcliffe Schools Equestrian Games competition. She achieved one of the best dressage scores, had a great showjumping round followed by a great ride cross country, coming home well inside the time and finishing in 4th position overall. This now qualifies Scarlett for the Schools Equestrian Games Championships, for which we wish her the very best of luck.
