Farleigh Goes Red, White & Blue for our New King & Queen

The children (and staff) were in high spirits on Friday, as everyone dressed in red, white and blue to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and to raise funds for our school charities, Mary’s Meals and Purple Oak Support.

We hope that this happy celebration continued on into the homes and communities of our Farleigh families, over the special bank holiday weekend. There were personal connections for many Farleigh families, with parents, past parents and alumni involved in the proceedings in many different ways, without doubt helping to make the day the great celebration it was for the country and Commonwealth.

A new chapter begins for the nation with this transfer of the reins to a new and thoughtful King. We hope our children feel excited about the prospect of his subtle influence on their lives and feel he cares deeply about many of the same things that they do and will be a great champion for their interests and concerns.

God Save the King!
