On Friday 26th May, a group of approximately 50 golfers, made up of current and former parents, staff, and school alumni, took part in the 2nd golf day to commemorate our former Director of Sport, Graeme Ellison. The golf and evening dinner took place at the Hockley Golf Club, Winchester.

The sun shone, the course was in immaculate condition and the day was enjoyed by all, with longest drives, nearest the pin and 'beat the professional' competitions taking place. The day was won by past pupils, Sam Attfield and his playing partner, Alex Williamson Jones.

Although great fun, the day was set up to raise money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, Andover, who looked after Graeme so well. We are delighted to have raised £4000 (approximately) from the event this year, which surpasses the first event and we are already looking forward to next year. Huge thanks to all who took part in the golf day, whether donating money, playing golf or attending the dinner. Our grateful thanks also go to Mrs Healing, who put a huge amount of her time and effort into the organisation of the day.
