Masquerading at the Boarders' Dinner Night

Our annual Masquerade Boarders’ Dinner Night got off to a mysterious start, as the guests arrived suitably disguised in their imaginative homemade masks, for what promised to be a topsy turvy evening!

The catering team drew their inspiration from the Deep South of America for the evening’s banquet. The first course got into the spirit of things and cunningly disguised itself as a pudding, appearing to be a bourbon biscuit which was in fact a parmesan biscuit with a smoked salmon filling.

For the main course the guests enjoyed a finger-lickin’ good potato waffle burger with southern fried chicken, bacon and coleslaw, and for pudding it was, of course, cookie ‘fries’ with strawberries and a chocolate dip.

All the guests came up with wonderful masks and innovative ideas, though our hands-down favourite has to be Coco’s 2020 Farleigh tree. Despite being slightly confused by the upside down menu, all the children said the meal was one of the most delicious yet.
