Rugby Season Round-Up

Whilst the RFU guidelines seem to change every year and the parameters for schools become increasingly challenging, it has continued to be heartening to watch a fantastic season of rugby from all of the Farleigh boys.

Whether they have played tag rugby at U8 or a mix of touch and contact rugby from U9 upwards, the boys are always enthusiastic, keen to learn and have made great strides this year.

We have seen some hugely competitive U13A&B and U12A&B fixtures, our U11A team pulled off the amazing feat of winning the IAPS this year, it was another great season from the U11B&C teams, and a superb season from the U10A team, with equally strong performances from the U10B&C teams.

The U9 and U8 players have impressed and are making great progress and, as I look around at the development of our players, I can only be proud of them and the coaching team that work so hard with them.

Although the future of rugby is clearly being discussed in a wider context, at Farleigh I would say the future continues to be bright.
