Imagine everyone's surprise and joy (especially the supporting parents!) when the sun came out for Year 3's keenly anticipated House matches on Friday. After the constant rain and high winds, everyone seemed to have a spring in their step as they enjoyed the sunshine and looked forward to the impending exeat weekend. 

The number of boys and girls in each year group in each House varies quite a bit from year to year and can be dependent on older siblings in the school, so some year groups can find themselves with small teams, as was the case with the Kestrels boys on Friday. Considering they have only four boys in the House in Year 3 and therefore had to play non-stop with no breaks for any of them, Max, Freddie, Jago and Orlando played superbly for the entirety and worked their socks off for their House.

It was a fun afternoon and well done to all of Year 3, both boys and girls, whose match play is improving at a very fast rate.
